We live about 20 seconds away and just needed somewhere for SiL to crash after my daughters 21st birthday party. House was perfect for us. Comfortable and convenient location. We live near the main station so anyone traveling by public transport would find it easy to get to.
Forgot our ice-cream in the fridge and every time we go past I say - "Do you think he's eaten it?" :-)
Would def book again.

Very clean, well appointed and lovely interior. Well laid out with everything needed for a stay. Quiet location, easy to get to and good communication from host.
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
The cottage is absolutely beautiful, cosy, clean, and in a fantastic position, close walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops. Lisa was really friendly and helpful with great communication. We had an amazing weekend for my daughters birthday and will definitely return. Thank you!
The place is amazing, spotless, kitchen has almost everything you might need. The cottage has thatched roof which makes you feel like in a very historic place. Dining and living area with very cute windows looking over fields, ponds and a castle. Very peaceful. Bedrooms were very comfortable and full of character. Much better than expected from pictures. The property has a hot tub, but we didn’t use it on this occasion.
Reception staff were excellent, proactive and very understanding. Room was very nice and the bathroom with wall inbuilt TV is a very nice touch. Spa is very nice with two outdoor hot tubs, an indoor hot tub, infrared spa, snow room, steam room and sauna. Nice swimming pool and also a gym with plenty of equipment to choose from.
Lovely cottage to stay in fabulous location and beautiful gardens lovely staff close to heswall with lots of shops and restaurants
Facilities good but could have done with a washing machine
Beds really comfortable
lovely staff felt very welcome, cottage was dated but it is a old building so that’s what you expect, it was more down stairs that was dated up stairs was more modern just white with very comfortable beds, we had a hot tub which was great we had a laugh but where it was situated wasn’t the best it was in a yard behind the toilet window which I wasn’t expecting because on the pictures it didn’t look like that but the yard is small so suppose there’s no where else to but it , but for £150 for 6 people it’s well worth it :)
