The residence was extremely pleasant to stay in with good heating and well stocked kitchen. The bathroom had great water pressure and it was large. The railway station is one minute walk with trains direct to Liverpool city center. The TV was huge and had free movie options. Overall a great place to stay. All was good. The area is historic in nature with great walking areas throughout Port Sunlight. The art gallery is especially impressive and the local pubs and restaurants are excellent.

Everything. Very comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean house. The decor and colour scene was exceptional. Phil responded immediately to any request for information. A great host. It is an ideal location to visit Liverpool (2 cathedrals, of which the Catholic one has a real WOW factor - and of course a ferry across the Mersey), Crosby (Antony Gormley's 100 cast-iron, life-size figures in the sea), walks on the beach, Chester and to play golf, if you like that sort of thing. Walking distance to several restaurants. We ate at The HUT, a Sri Lankan restaurant, run by a young Sri Lankan couple. The food was truly authentic and so good that we went back on 3 successive evenings. It is a MUST visit.
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
Everything about the property was first class ! ... we had a friendly & warm welcome from host Neil upon collection of the keys to the cottage ...he also informed us of numerous pubs, restaurants & events happening in the locality during our stay.
The property was clean, comfortable and well furnished. It was a lovely cosy house to spend NYE together. There pub and country park both within walking distance were a bonus. Neil the host was extremely helpful and had lots of advice about the local area. We would definitely stay here again.
