The breakfasts are very tasty, everyone will really find something for themselves, and a very nice lady prepares hot and nicely served dishes. The rooms are a bit small but very cozy.
This guesthouse is a Gem! Charming vintage style coupled with beautifully clean rooms with a good shower & a very comfortable bed. Host could not have been friendlier making me very welcome from the start. Breakfast was a very good selection of cereals, toast, croissants, fruits, pan au Chocolat & cereal bars. Given the very central & perfect location it was quiet & peaceful. A blissful stay & I shall return.

Lovely hotel, recently refurbished looks fresh and nice. Rooms well furnished, no creaky floor boards and a beautifully functioning sash window. Good firm mattress. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have any but the lady who runs the hotel is charming, warm and extremely welcoming as are the staff. The water pressure was excellent and hot water was available instantly.
On arrival,(although all gates were locked we had to call to be let in ) the old lodge looked inviting inside and out ,recently decorated and had a nice feel about the place .I have severe copd so the lift was a god send as I can't do stairs well .The manager kindly helped us unload our luggage .
Another great stay at the Old Lodge, must be 12 or 13 visits now? Kirstie and co are as friendly as ever and do a great breakfast (my key requirement with the amount of time I on the road!) See you soon. :-)
I am always very comfortable staying at Brockhurst Lodge. It is immaculately presented and is a cozy and relaxing place to stay.
Pleasant place to do some work calls from when needed with good Internet access.
