This was an absolutely beautiful find. We loved every minute of our stay and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
The food was amazing and some of the best I have had.
The room was so cozy and had everything we needed, with lots of space.
The weather wasn't the greatest so didn't get to explore the outside areas but we definitely plan to return

Not only is the hotel in the best location in the heart of Grasmere, but the staff are outstanding. Special thanks to Rhian for the lovely welcome and Amber, who is an absolute credit to the hotel. She clearly loves her job and loves the Lakes and has the sweetest disposition. If I owned a hotel I would hire her as general manager!

This is a well equipped cosy cottage in the middle of Glenridding, on the walk up to Helvellyn. A lovely welcome pack was provided. A stunning sun room on the third floor provided panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
The location is stunning and the building has that cosy feel to it, the room was small but comfortable and the bathroom and shower was modern and roomy. The staff were helpful and the parking prior to check in was a real bonus, also the use of the pool and sauna was great. The breakfast for people without dietary requirements was fresh and tasty and the dining room classically decorated and warm with a nice view of the hills and surrounding village.
