The house is a 12 minute walk to Portsmouth International Port, this was ideal as we had dropped my dad at the Port for his cruise.
Towels and toiletries provided.
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
The rooms are nice, and the overall feel of the hotel is rustic and cosy but also professional. The pool and dry sauna are well maintained (the wet sauna seemed a bit grubby, but we don't use it, so it didn't affect us). The gym is Ok but quite small and the fitness studio is great to use when empty.
We loved everything about this hotel! Surrounded by wonderful gardens and walking paths, this old manor is perfect for tranquil weekends and romantic walks. The rooms are very cosy and modern and staff very friendly! We got room cleaning every day ! Highly recommended!

Gorgeous property, nice surroundings, friendly staff. It seems like there are a lot of students around, but that didn't bother us. Nice size pool with hot tub and sauna. We stayed there coming from Dover right before our cruise at Southampton.
Good wedding venue, great facilities, comfortable rooms, some interconnecting. Good gym, pool, sauna, hot tub. Nice gardens, walk around the perimeter through grounds (about 1KM). Free ‘L’ car charging (1 universal charging point. Unfortunately one client didn’t move their car when they had finished so others missed the opportunity to charge). 2 Tesla points. Staff were very helpful and friendly. When the bathroom door handle fell off within the 1st 5 mins of arrival, maintenance came to fix it the next day. Lovely plentiful breakfast 👍
New Place is located in beautiful countryside, the architecture of the old house was interesting inside and out. We enjoyed a lovely walk around the grounds before heading home. At night there are white lights in all the trees and it looks very pretty.
Our twin room was on the ground floor of the new block and close to the pool and sauna. The room was nicely furnished. We used the bar for a pre-dinner drink and the staff were all welcoming and helpful.
