Location. Quirky. Hot drink facilities. Shower. Style.
It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed.
I didn't normally like hot tubs but this one is basically a big outdoor bath that you refill each time, so it was very clean.
There are only 4 lodges and they are well spaced out so you didn't feel overlooked. There were a couple of board games there. The WiFi was excellent and we were able to stream films at night.
Quiet rural location with nice views over the countryside, easy access to Fife coast. Lovely walking/ cycling trails around Balcarres estate, golfing next to property, beds comfortable, fast stable wifi (always important to the kids), log burner and hot tub were fun additions.
Underfloor heating kept the property warm and cosy at all times.
Kitchen was small but had most things needed for self catering.
Hot tub was lovely, fires great, lots of wood on arrival for fires and lovely remote area with views to countryside and sea. Felt private and short distance to local town.
Beautiful location! The lodge was lovely and the hot tub was brilliant. The place had plenty space but that was just for the 2 of us. I can imagine if you have a family you would maybe struggle with living space (seating and kitchen works top space) But it is exactly as it is in the pictures! We had a really lovely time away to Elie and got to see some stunning views with visiting the beach, seeing ladies tower, the lighthouse. Lovely little place!
Beautifully located, very modern, cosy and warm. Very high spec lodge and we would 100% visit again. I will post some photos showing you our morning sunrise 🌅 view. Harper our dog loved the open land too. The Christmas tree with lights made our Christmas stay extra special too, the hot tub and fires also made our stay very relaxing.
