The views were so relaxing and the accommodation was so clean and warm. The hosts were like family after only the first meeting. Would absolutely stay again and again. Hot tub was a lovely experience. Most relaxing holiday we have had for a long time, didn't want to leave. The breakfast was the best I have ever had, too.

Hotel set in a lovely tranquil lawned garden which could be accessed from the patio area out of the drawing room. The bedroom we had overlooked the garden and was wonderfully quiet. We had the windows open and enjoyed the fresh county air and birdsong. The bedroom was large, the bed extremely comfortable and made up in crisp white bedlinen. The bathroom was also large and functioned well though it looked a little dated. Breakfast and Dinner were both delicious, good portions and all the food was thoughtfully prepared and well cooked. A nice selection of local cheeses too. Wine selection very good and a large selection of drink at the bar area. We were very well looked after and enjoyed the elegant furnishings and surroundings of the hotel. A treat to stay somewhere so relaxing and peaceful.

The minute I walked up the stairs, into the lounge and looked out from the balcony my heart sung. Stunning view, beautiful bird song, glorious. The property is excellent, very well equipped in every way. Couldn't have wanted more. Quiet walk to a beautiful beach and coastal walks. Exclusive use of part of the garden, a lovely garden with bench and sunloungers. Very comfortable lounge, large TV. This cottage is in a quiet location with beautiful coast and countryside all round. Loved every minute staying here.
The lodge was clean, cosy and felt like a home away from home. The facilities were great and we had plenty of cooking and cleaning equipment. Perfect for a family or group of friends to relax and a great location for outdoor enthusiasts.
Everything about Lintie Cottage was wonderful. I am an artist and the surrounding countryside was inspiring and beautiful. The people on the farm made us feel very welcome. I'd go back there again with our family anytime. The layout of the space was perfect. Nice and bright and clean.
Fabulous lodge in the perfect location. We had such a wonderful stay and the lodge is very cosy and the outdoor space is great. The communication from the owner was great and welcome pack and cake on arrival are perfect. Thank you for the birthday candles and banner for my son’s birthday. This was a really thoughtful touch! My daughter and I loved our stay at Buittle Castle from start to finish. We were greeted by Tobias who looked after us during our stay and ensured we had everything we needed. He was cheery, friendly and extremely polite at all times. Our room was lovely and cosy with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with wine in the beautiful Medieval Hall. and a great breakfast in our room the following morning. Compliments to the chef! Afterwards we made use of the hot tub which was good fun.

This property is outstanding. We have stayed in many self catering properties but this by far exceeds any in terms of cleanliness, decor, and comfort. The attention to detail was incredible, even including a home made cake on arrival! Everything is so thought through. We will definitely return to this beautiful lodge and area. Two great pubs within a 20 minute walk down in Kippford.
