Really conveniently located property a very short distance from the train station. The host was very friendly and communicative and answered our questions.
The cottage itself was exactly what we wanted, really cozy and comfortable with beautiful scenery nearby.
Would definitely reccomend this property.
Beautiful house (excellent self-made photos featuring the natural beauty of Scotland on the walls of the common areas and the room alike) with an idyllic, superbly wholesome garden. Cozy living room to chill out, watch TV and read. Breakfast was excellent (delicious, freshly cooked, with generous portions).
Great place for short or long stays.
Cosy cottage with wonderful host! Had all necessities for basic cooking + laundry as well. Breakfast was cooked deliciously to order + even the shortbread and jams were homemade. Took a slight detour off the west highland way to stay here, reached at 9pm but was still warmly welcomed☺️🫶🏻
Location is superb. Quiet and remote. Picturesque.
Farmhouse exceptional. Charming with delightful decor. Filled with love. So clean. Perfectly cooked breakfast. Professional & courteous with just the right amount of warmth in welcoming me into this idyllic retreat. Shona has a brilliant persona with just the most cordial manner. I highly recommend.
My second time staying at Portnellan at the Pinemarten cabin and it was so fantastic we can’t wait for our next visit already. The views are simply breathtaking. Photos don’t do it justice. The cabin is modern but cosy and very clean. One of the best cabins I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts are fantastic, we have met Cameron each stay and he is very helpful, really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and helped us out when we had an issue with our taxi, can’t thank him enough! Will be back again soon, highly recommend this place.
We loved the location, having just come off the sleeper train. The staff/owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and did all they could to make us comfortable. The cabin was so cosy - exactly what we wanted for a weekend away for two.
This place has everything you would need. Small cabins were able to accomodate a double bed and a single bed.
It had kettle, washroom, little outside area to sit and sip tea/coffee with the best views one can ever imagine.
On top of that, it started snowing which made the stay even more cozy.
One of the most affordable options in the area, the lodges were very cosy and the owners/people who welcomed us were really nice and helpful. Parking provided beside each lodge. The rooms weren't too spacious but definitely big enough for short stay. Dog friendly
A very comfortable place to stay - a cosy cabin.
The weather had been horrendous and the reception area had been flooded - the staff were very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable.
