The house was really close to Cheddar and we were able to do the caves and gorge walk without driving which made the whole experience a lot simpler. The house was beautiful and the folding doors onto the garden were stunning when opened. Everything was easy to find and use. The information provided by the host was really helpful about the local area.

Beautifully quiet spot in pretty quiet village. The house was delightful, full of character and beautiful things.! Breakfast, although vegetarian was truly excellent, best fruit salad, and perfectly toasted sour dough toast with a huge variety of preserves, plus great choice of cereals ad muesli. The location was great, very quiet and pretty countryside with a short walk into Cheddar village to pubs and shops along the old railway track.

The staff were very friendly.
The lodge was lovely and comfortable with a modern interior, plus very clean. We cooked a few meals there and had all the plates/cutlery/utensils we needed to make a main meal.
We had a great time at this lovely little cottage. The cottage was well equipped with everything you could need. The fully functional wood burner with plenty of wood was really cosy as well.

This incredibly cozy place features a superbly equipped kitchen (it has everything and even more to cook with) and comfortable bedrooms. The fireplace was a delightful addition, and the opportunity to light it ourselves was appreciated. The cottage is conveniently located in relation to Cheddar Caves (literally a 10-minute walk to the ticket office and nearby souvenir shops and cafes). We definitely recommend Strawberry Cottage. The location of the lodges are fantastic, so peaceful in a tranquil countryside setting. Our Primrose lodge was very well presented with quality fixtures and fittings, as well as a very comfortable bed!
All facilities are supplied, hot tub is a nice touch, although there are other lodges nearby it is vey private.
Excellent location, just 5 min walk to the village and 10 mins walk to the Caves. The cottage is lovely and even prettier than the pictures. The kitchen is very well kitted out so self catering is a breeze. Beds are very comfy, and the lounge is perfect for a cozy evening. We loved it.
A beauiful lodge in stunning countryside with everything you could ever need. A private not overlooked hot tub, lovely furnishings, dishwasher? Washer/dryer. Complete privacy. Outside sitting and own barbie. Huge bath with lovely lighting. Every window looked out to countryside.
The lodge was lovely, all the furniture and appliances you could tell were good quality and it was nice and cosy with the hot tub. Not to mention so close to Cheddar and the gorge which are absolutely stunning, would definitely recommend
