Beautiful property with querky decor, very clean and very comfortable for 4 adults staying. Great location too. Hosts were fab being there on hand if you needed anything… which we didn’t. Will definitely book to stay there again.
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
The hotel upgraded our room due to it being our wedding anniversary and birthday at no extra cost. There was a balloon and bottle of fizz in the room on arrival and were gifted a card and pass to access the facilities of pool and sauna also at no extra cost. Had a lovely weekend away 🥰

The room was pleasant, clean and just what we needed for a night's stay. The directions to self-check-in after hours, were very helpful. Fifteen minutes in the car/taxi from the airport, give or take. My wife had the continental breakfast and I had the cooked English breakfast, which were both really tasty and just what we needed after a late flight the night before. The host was very accommodating, friendly and charming. Would recommend if you're passing by.

The check-in was smooth, the public area was classy, decorated with a lot of love and care and really reflects on the heritage of the building and the city. The room was clean and charming (I love exposed wooden roof beams). Bed comfortable & shower hot. I stayed there for a early pick-up from the airport so it was perfect for that. You can see the owner really takes pride in what they do and how much they love the city (from the photo that line the staircase).
Lovely, friendly, cosy lodge, we were very warmly welcomed by a lovely host on arrival, and they communicated well. Location is perfect for the airport, its easy to get to and has parking. Option to have breakfast available, room clean and has great facilities. Also, outstanding value for money!
The lodge was beautifully decorated and well kept. The host was friendly and helpful. We arrived late and only a tight spot left for our car. She managed to work a solution immediately. The room was cosy and quiet. With a car, this is a great location for transit to the Manchester Airport. It was just 5 mins drive from our rental car drop off.
