A charming cottage with beautiful views, on a main road but minimal noise from cars and tractors. A beautiful stunning location in Cartmel , we attended the races which was a very short walk away , truly a great day out . Close enough to lake Windermere and Bowness to visit . The cottage was clean comfortable and a lovely gift of Prosecco was received very well , thank you !

Lots of personal touches that make it a bit more special.
And to top it all the weather was perfect too.
Very peaceful apart from the hot tub guy who randomly turns up unexpectedly but according to him he doesn’t need permission so privacy isn’t guaranteed but the venders lodge we stayed in was enjoyable and relaxing apart from the hot tub guy
Excellent level of comfort and cleanliness. The cottage was warm and cosy, with effective central heating, good shower. Beds and lounges were all very comfortable.
Location, right in the middle of Cartmel, was excellent both for local pubs and places to eat, as well as a great base for fell walking /running.
Perfect location just a very short walk from the Village. Cottage was very clean, cosy and very well equipped. Owners very accommodating. Had a perfect few days away and would definitely recommend Causeway Cottage and will be on the list when we visit Cartmel again.
inside the cottage was exceptionally clean on arrival. nice welcome basket in the kitchen which was a nice touch and was well equipped. bed room was lovely and the shower is excellent. hot tub is brilliant, with some nice garden furniture. but above it is so peaceful and idyllic.
The location is perfect. The cottage was well stocked with appliances, dishes and extra towels as needed. The gas fireplace made for very cozy evenings.
A beautiful Country House, situated in an idyllic location. On arrival we were received a very warm welcome and were shown to our charming and very comfortable room by one of our hosts.
