The location was very good with local pubs and restaurants. The furnishings and appliances were of a high standard. Three excellent Tvs with Sky. Great sliding windows in lounge. Our overall stay was good.

Really lovely cottage in great location. Conveniently just off the Maunsell trail and not far from Castleton/Mam Tor walk. Very cosy, comfy beds and great living space. Thanks for the biscuits and milk!
The wood burner was great for making the cottage warm and cosy in the evenings, and the hot tub was such a treat to come back to after our walks. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were great. The welcome booklet had lots of information which was greatly appreciated. We also loved the on-site shop with lots of fresh produce to enjoy. Really good location that had nearby access to hikes and experiences.
A beautiful cottage, very warm and cosy, the underfloor heating was really nice and it was full of character. After a day's walking the hot tub was so nice too we used it every day (take some robes with you if you want to use it). It had everything we needed and the town of Buxton was not far away, plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby and we used a local taxi service as we didn't want to drive. Would highly recommend.
The very tastefully furnished and comfortable cottage was located in a small village close to Buxton. It came with a fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, washing machine and living room and was very cosy for four people. A couple of walks started at the cottage. The location was very quiet, no through-traffic at all.
You turn off the main road and feel like you're in the countryside! Our room was cosy, warm, inviting and delightful. When in your room you cannot hear the main road at all. Very clean, presentable, and delightful room. I love that your room is like a tiny cottage with its own parking spot and front door. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming on arrival and at breakfast the following day. It was great to hear some of the history of the site too.
Smithy Bungalow is a very compact holiday cottage. It looks newly renovated and was very clean.
The location is great, just a short walk from the town centre but on a quiet street.
The shower was in the en suite and had the choice of an overhead shower head or an angled one. We were only there one night and didn't cook so I can't comment on the kitchen facilities.
