It was a perfect location, we'd booked dinner at the dog and partridge for myself and my son and it was within easy walking distance. The rooms were lovely, it was quiet and grateful for the instructions to boost the heating and hot water. The instructions prior to arriving were also very helpful. I knew exactly which car parking spaces to park in, where and what time to collect the key. Susie, the landlady kept in touch and that was really helpful.

The hotel is a beautiful traditional old country house. Our room was very well appointed and very comfortable . The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious.

The room was absolutely charming and very comfortable. I was a little concerned that there were no staff, and it was entry by code only, but this worked really well. I would definitely stay there again and I would definitely recommend it.
N/a self catering, very handy Lidl a short walk away which supplied everything we needed.
The kitchen was tremendously well equipped; to the extend that my friends and I said how easy it would be to stay for much longer. Washing up liquid; tea towel and dishcloth supplied. Couldn’t want for anything!
Pleasant staff and welcoming. Clean hotel and all facilities available in room. Hell of a lot cleaner than travelodge or premier inn. And they don’t have as much facilities either. Travelodge I will never book with again

It’s a very good size and a very attractive cottage, kitchen was well kitted out. Nice hot tub out back in a very nicely planted out garden , where we were all able to sit around the table and eat breakfast alfresco. very homely and plenty of toilet, bathroom facilities too. nice touches such as leaving us a bottle of Carva and chocolate. The host was very friendly and welcoming, very flexible about check out time.
