The cottage was so clean and pretty. One of the best I’ve stayed in. The little extra touches like butter, milk, bread, coffee made such a difference. We even had a bottle of fizz.

no information about local walks but we had coffee at the Riverside Cafe and lunch in the High Street in Burford, which was very nice. we had a wander around Carterton too, which was ok too. we were unlucky with the month we visited because the animal sanctuary was closed for winter, as were other interesting places to see.

The layout of the house was great. Big table, big kitchen, all the appliances and utilies we needed. The bedrooms were a good size. The kids room with bunk beds a rill out bed was also very handy. The gage on the stairs was good too.
The location was brilliant for us and what we planned. The coop opposite was good for shopping.
The garden was great for the dog, small and compact but safe and secure so could happily let him for a wee and just watch him from the window.
The communication with the owners was brilliant and so helpful.

A wonderful location with lots if Cotswolds charm with cosy fireplaces with fireside armchairs and sofas to relax in. Sparkling clean and very comfortable. Luxurious toiletries, teas/coffee’s and facilities. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The breakfast included was excellent. The whole place is superb.

Great choice at breakfast , all freshly prepared.
Comfortable bed and pillows, bath and shower with complimentary toiletries, big white fluffy towels.
Breakfast was great and served hot, usual quality full English breakfast.
Restaurant whilst being small, is cosy and charming, exposed beams, brickwork, and brass fixtures.
Room was a suite with double doors into it, a super kings sized bed, fantastic spacious room with sofa and large new looking bathroom.
There is also a sun terrace (new) and once furnished with a table and parasol will be great for sunny days.
The hotel is conveniently located in Burford with plenty of parking behind the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very cosy and were well heated despite 0°C outside. Great comfortable bed: rooms are not huge, but a good size to create a nice atmosphere. The fireplaces in the lounge area are excellent, I would stay here any time again.
Everything we were looking for, small, cosy, clean hotel with nicely decorated rooms. Special mention for the winter/Christmas feeling with the fireplaces and decorations. We have been upgraded to a suite which was definitely a nice surprise, well appreciated!
