It’s very cute and modern, with all new amenities that worked very well. The location is very cute, by the (formerly inhabited) horse stables and with an apple orchard just in front :) it’s about a 10 min drive to the beach and 5 mins to nearby Beaulieu so it’s not far from walking spots, but still very quiet and secluded. We got great directions from the lovely and very accommodating host as the place was hard to find, but with the detailed description we had no problems at all! And we had breakfast supplies provided as well :)

Hosts very kind with welcome items, much appreciated after long journey. Lovely garden to enjoy, and fabulous garden room - so warm and cosy. Brilliant location to enjoy the village amenities, walks and be able to reach all around further afield so easily. Generous (lots & lots) of space in cosy cottage feel. Amenities great - home from home.
Best B&B we've ever been to! Cosy room and charming house with cute ponies in the backyard. Genette is lovely and very attentive. I had some preferences regarding breakfast, but that was no problem and I got more than I expected. Also very clean and excellent location in the beautiful New Forest area.
What an amazing place. Tom and Lucy were so helpful and generous - we arrived to a fridge stocked with the beer they brew onsite, plus a couple of local ice creams! Lucy also brought over some home baked bread. The cabin was so cosy and well-equipped, and the little garden is delightful. Lymington is a short drive away, there are some lovely pubs in the area, and some excellent walks.
I had a lovely stay at the Cottage Lodge hotel. I had a warm welcome when I arrived, with a designated parking space and coffee and cake during check in. The room was lovely and spacious and the facilities were clean. I enjoyed sitting out in the garden area and found the hotel extremely peaceful. Breakfast was great and good quality, with lots of options. In addition the hotel was easy to find and situated in a good location. I would definitely visit again!
The Thatched Cottage was very cute, our room was in the attic and called Lord Earl Grey. We had a lot of space and a bath. The bed was very comfortable and as I am tall it did not have any form of footer which was great. The breakfast in the attached tearoom was very nice and the staff were helpful. I would recommend the hotel. It's location is next to about 5 pubs and other restaurants. We had a meal at the recommended Thai restaurant which was a 2 minute walk away. It was very good.
An idyllic location surrounded by New Forest countryside, but close enough to be able to walk to the village. Although a traditional thatched cottage, every modern facility had been thought of, and our room was tastefully furnished. A wonderful breakfast each day and Tina was such a helpful and informative host - a lovely, relaxing break.
