Just excellent hospitality in very traditional British setting. Very comfortable for business and the food and lounge fare and service are spot on for impromptu meetings.

Field Farm Cottage B&B, hotel in Basingstoke

Offering garden views, Field Farm Cottage B&B in Reading features accommodations and a garden. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking, free shuttle service, and free Wifi.

A quaint and traditional farm cottage. The welcoming and friendly owner Anne was so hospitable. The old pinewood doors with the latches on. Lovely room, comfy beds, good quality tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast, now myself and my partner didn't have the full English. But the poached eggs were good and the homemade granola with the fruit was delicious. The bedding was good quality and the bed was perfect. Lots of little extras, like fresh little flowers on your bedside table, lovely body wash and shampoo you provided. So I really enjoyed it.

Debbie kept us informed prior to arrival and was very pleasant when we met her. There was milk, washing up liquid and shower gel and shampoo left for us, which was very helpful with a self catering accommodation. On site parking and a self-contained lodge, made coming and going easy. We only really slept there as we had travelled to visit our daughter.

From arriving everything was perfect and ready for our stay. Debbie greeted us and made us very welcome. The lodge was more spacious than imagined when booking. The location off the main road had easy parking and access. The hosts had left fresh milk and other essentials - as this was self catering this wasn't expected but a welcome bonus. We were attending the Farnborough Airshow on business and West View Lodge was much more comfortable than hotels we had used in previous years. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cosy warm rooms, real countryside feel and next door to lovely pub with its large beer garden and country walks nearby, yet only 5 mins to Festival Place Shopping Centre. The restaurant was great with tasty reasonably priced food, will be back

Cosy, clean and beautiful. Very dog friendly with a lovely garden and walks beyond the end of the garden into the countryside beyond. Great value for money, wished I could have stayed longer and will definitely stay again.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the lady at the check-in station - she was a genius at what she is doing! We loved the atmosphere of the hotel, the food at the bar, the pool area, the sauna, and the steam room - everything! The room was very clean with cosy beds (a very important point). But the biggest benefit of the hotel is the staff - absolutely amazing!
