It was a lovely cottage everything you need, great location from city centre, left essentials to start your holiday with, will definitely be back to stay when going to Ayr again
My room was lovely, everything I needed was in it……hairdryer, iron, toiletries, tea and coffee facilities . It was a spacious room with a king size bed, modern shower room and very cosy and warm when I arrived.
The food in the restaurant was lovely and the staff were very nice.
There is a nice little leisure complex attached, with small swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. This was ideal after a long walk on the promenade…which is about 100 mtr walk, so great location
This is a charming hotel, an old building with grand public rooms and charming, individual bedrooms. Private parking was easy, the staff very pleasant and helpful and a lovely bedroom and facilities, overlooking the splendid garden. We stayed for dinner in a magnificent panelled dining room which is wonderfully appointed and both the food and service was excellent, I had the sea bass which was delicious! Breakfast in the same room was again very good with a wide selection to choose from. we would definitely stay again.
Directions were super easy to follow. On arrival we were hosted by Jim who showed us around. The lodge itself was immaculate and picturesque. Private parking, hamper on arrival with essentials which were super lovely. The whole lodge was equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing. My kids loved watching the stars whilst toasting marshmallows which were also included in the hamper too. Would highly recommend. Everything is local shops, beaches, castles and parks. Can't wait to book again.
