Came to Windermere for one night for the start of a roadtrip with my partner. This accommodation made our time there really special. Lovely and clean home, with a modern interior impressed us when we walked in. Having the hot tub there was amazing really completed a perfect stay. Bed was super comfortable, I really have nothing bad to say about this stay. Loved every second of it, location was great aswell. Hosts were very easy to contact and were very polite. Would recommend this to anyone staying in Windermere!

It was a charming country house which maintained its Cumbrian heritage and was maintained to a high standard inside and out. The gardens are lovely to wander around too.
Everything is exactly as illustrated by previous guests. Pleasant hosts; Sheila and Chris are so passionate and thank you for sharing the cottage with us. And they cook scrumptious breakfast too. Comfy and cosy rooms and living room. And the manicured English garden. And the trails right across the road; catch the romantic summer sunset and sunrise. It’s simply a perfect stay in the Lakes.

Really lovely cottage a little outside Ambleside. I read a few bad reviews beforehand but was pleasantly surprised by how nice to house is.
it was warm and cosy when we arrived, and the house stayed warm the whole stay. The beds are comfortable, everything worked in the kitchen and bathroom. There is a bathtub so that is a plus with kids.
There is enough hot water for everyone (even after baths).
The furnishings are in good condition and nicely decorated.
it’s also close to a few trails.
We really had a lovely time as a family.
Such a beautiful location. Great sized cabin. Great internet. Lots of dvds for cosy evenings in. Comfy bed and everything you need for self catering. Really responsive when emailed a question. Very clean.
The cottage was cosy and comfortable, it was equipped for your self catering needs. It has a lovely big bathroom with separate shower cubicle and bath so you can relax those leg muscles after a long walk. It has a lovely garden to eat and drink outside , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and so did our westie Bella.
It was a lovely, idyllic countryside lodge. Had a river running just by the garden at the back and was incredible. The staff were faultless and contributed so much to the trip. Gave loads of information about Ambleside and the ferry system, along with a map showing the routes of nearby walks. Free Wi-Fi and parking. An all around great stay, and will definitely come to stay again.
Breakfast was outstanding, freshly cooked to order.
The hosts were wonderful! Cottage and gardens beautiful. Cozy charming place.
Spotlessly clean, attention to detail second to none. Perfect location
