Woodcockfaulds House, hotel in Stirling

Located in a rural location close to Stirling, Woodcockfaulds House offers accommodation with free WiFi and access to a garden. A continental breakfast can be enjoyed at the property.

This was my third stay at Woodcockfaulds House and once again it was a brilliant stay! I can't recommend it enough! Debbie and her husband are simply wonderful hosts, willing to go out of their way to ensure their guests have a great stay. Each time I have stayed here I have been impressed by their kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity. The rooms are outstanding. They are spacious, very clean and extremely comfortable. The location is also great. Not only is it easy to reach nearby amenities, but larger towns, cities and tourist attractions are easy and quick to get to as well. The house itself is located in a calm, quiet and beautiful area, with wonderful views. It really is a wonderful place to stay if you're looking for a place to relax and unwind. I have previously stayed here with my son and can say that it's also a very family-friendly place to stay, with games provided. I can't rate this property highly enough! It's a brilliant place and I very much look forward to returning again in the future!

Lovely warm welcome at this beautiful guesthouse. Attention to detail with decor and art is so impressive. We had a locally sourced cheese and charcuterie platter for dinner which was delicious. Breakfast also fantastic. Gorgeous view of the forth from our room. I plan to come back soon!

Cottage with Hot Tub near Knockhill, hotel in Saline

Offering a garden and garden view, Cottage with Hot Tub near Knockhill is situated in Saline, 42 km from Murrayfield Stadium and 43 km from EICC.

On arrival the cottage was impressive, getting access was easy with parking and key collection. The cottage is beautiful inside and out. Clean, homely and comfortable. We were greeted with a bottle of fizz and a personalised card welcoming us to the cottage. Communication from the owners was brilliant, contacting me before our arrival and providing us with contact information if we needed anything while we were there (which we didnt). We rented the cottage as a staying place to complete an event in the area, unfortunately the event got cancelled so we ended up spending more time in the cottage than we originally planned, and because the cottage was so peaceful and comfortable we soon forgot about our disappointment for the event. Safe to say we will be booking again next year, to hopefully complete the event in 2026.

Springbank Holiday Home, hotel in Dunfermline

Located in Dunfermline, Springbank Holiday Home is a recently renovated accommodation, 13 km from Forth Bridge and 18 km from Hopetoun House.

Everything is modern clean and comfortable. I have stayed here many times as I travel up to Scotland on a weekly basis in the summer for work. Perfect stay , unfortunately the price has now increased and it is out of my budget for future stays , which is a shame as a solo female traveller I felt safe at the property . Hosts are friendly and great communication. I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Dunfermline to book this property if in their budget.

Wonderful spacious house, beautiful countryside views, excellent location being only 10 mins from train to Glasgow or Edinburgh and right near Stirling and many other lovely attractions, good customer support when we had an issue with the locks. A few small issues but would still highly recommend.

The function facilities and bar/grill area was really nice, clean and a pleasant place to be. Our room was cosy, which was great as I thought staying in the castle building might be a bit chilly. The ladies working on reception were friendly and helpful.
