A great location for cyclists riding the Voie Verte or a quiet romantic retreat, this cottage is just a short distance from La Magdelaine, one of the picturesque 11 locks of Hédé-Bazouges. It is at the very entrance to a tiny village, adjoining the owner's garden but very private with its own parking, and a secluded terrace area with sun chairs and large dining table and umbrella.
The cottage itself is really cool, with lots of natural wood, large windows and a romantic open loft bedroom that can be curtained off for privacy. We were 3 people and used the downstairs folding sofa as well, and it was comfortable. There is a fully equipped kitchen, and the bathroom has a fancy modern multi-spray shower. It's all new and clean and well maintained.
The hosts are very welcoming and charming, and did a great job of being accessible without intruding. They offer a menu that includes home-made pizzas and other snacks, drinks, and simple foods which we very much enjoyed. They also offer breakfast, but as we were leaving early we didn't try it.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.

Beautiful apartment, comfortable and secure - situated down a quiet side street located near the town centre. We had everything we needed for a short self catering stay but were spoilt for choice with nearby cafe's and restaurants. There was a Lidl in the shopping centre close by. Everything was within walking distance. Apartment was clean and quite spacious, plenty of room for 3 adults.
Great location in a cosy small apartment close to the city centre. It has everything you need and therefore perfect for a few of nights. Brendan the host is very helpful and responsive. We had a lovely time in Rennes and we definitely recommend this place. Great start of our trip through France and a bonus that it has a garage!
The place was quiet We just love the decoration and the flat design was very stylish.at the same time it feels like home and it’s really cosy .we will come back again very soon
The room was cosy but comfortable. There was a small balcony overlooking a very quiet residential street but only two blocks from major streets and highways. The bar was cute and vintage with loads of 50's and 60's movie memorabilia and though we opted out of breakfast, it looked copious with a lot on offer besides the usual French croissants, juice, bread and coffee.

The flat was really charmy and elegant, situated in the center of Rennes, close to restaurants and bars. The owner was very kind and offered a free breakfast in the room. We loved the original parquet flooring, the lovely bedroom with the old fireplace and the pretty bathroom!!! We really had a pleasant stay!
This was a large and beautifully furnished house, full of many interesting artefacts, with an easy walk into the town centre. Our room was large and comfortable, with gorgeous shower and bath, and thick soft towels. Marie was a charming and attentive hostess who allowed us free run of the reception rooms and garden, and provided a generous breakfast.
The hotel was slick with all facilities of the highest standard. Thoroughly enjoyed our too brief stay, breakfast was lovely and plentiful and the hotel was in the centre of Rennes with access to all the city had to offer. The staff were charming and the outdoor bar was a wonderful relaxing place to chill out after a busy day
