The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the old port - you can see the busy town but also be in a quieter street. The house is beautiful! The balcony was wonderful, relaxing with the atmosphere of the evening, but in our own space. Closing the window kept all the sound out if we didn't want to hear it. The accommodation was really comfortable (the best beds), stylish furniture, good internet and very clean. The was plenty of everything provided and the finishing touches were lovely. Even though it's on the street, once inside it felt very private. We want to return and if we had a home in Honfleur - we would want this to be it. Loved it.

We enjoyed the stay but the accommodation was a little limited with a strange and difficult flight of stairs. We were able to enjoy ourselves and the owner was extremely welcoming

the villa advise us to park near by the port which is cheaper (6Euro/day) and it's walkable.

Perfectly situated in the heart of old historic Honfleur, all of the sights are within short walking distances. Spend evenings wining and dining at any of the numerous venues and then return to to the calm and tranquility of La maison Belle Marée!
Furthermore, during our long weekend stay, we had no problem finding free on-street parking in the streets immediately adjacent to the property.
Besides exploring the old town, we took a very delightful and interesting walk alongside the River Seine and through the Jardin des Personnalities, to Butin Beach. Including our return route (via Boulevard Charles V, passing by the Vieux Phare and the Maisons Satie), this walk out from/back to La maison Belle Marée totalled only 4 kilometres. Top tip for this walk - Take a picnic!

Excellent place to be!!! Very cosy and comfortable appartement on the 1st floor, right at the center of the charming city of Honfleur. Everything you need is there. Fantastic host, great tips, great fun.

Beautiful, cosy and scenic cottage. Breakfast was so delicious and fresh. Hosts were extremely warm and helpful. They provided all the support needed including recommending nice resturants and taxi companies and dry cleaning our clothes. Can I just say that the breakfast was amazing.
The property is excellently located (walking distance) to Honfluer City Centre and the Harbour. You can also do day trips to Deauville, Etreate etc. I highly recommend. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful time.

Absolutely loved my stay at la Venelle Saint Jean! The place is extremely cozy, comfortable and well equipped, and based in a very charming part of Honfleur. But my stay became exceptional with a million thanks to Penny, who was absolutely delightful and provided great recommendations, particularly when it came to sightseeing around Honfleur and surrounding areas, checking out local markets and restaurants, and - most importantly - the town's history and its secrets! It was a perfect getaway and look forward to visiting again soon :)
