The location was amazing, close to Bordeaux, five minutes by car from a supermarket, but it was still in a countryside location.
Sophie, the host, was friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome.
The apartment was fabulous, if you want peace and quiet, you'll be happy, I'm a very fussy sleeper as I sleep so lightly, and even with the ceiling fan on I could sleep, it was a remote controlled one and very quiet.
A fairly busy road was close by, but I didn't hear a peep from it until the morning rush hour.
The walk in shower was lovely, much appreciated, and the outdoor decking area was a nice place to take breakfast or sit for the evening, we arrived late, so a cup of coffee out there was all we had at night.
The accommodation included a cooker and a hob, a toaster, microwave and a kettle. There was nothing missing. I would definitely stay again.

The staff and owner of Château Gassies made me feel like I was here on holiday, while I was here for business! An exceptionally gorgeous location, tastefully decorated rooms and facilities and a staff that clearly takes pride in their top notch level of service and dedication to their profession. If you are in the Bordeaux region and you want a place to come to rest and indulge in quaint, classic French luxury - Château Gassies is the place for you. I will be visiting again as a tourist next time.

We had the ground floor of this property including the pool. The outdoor undercover area was great for meals even in the rain. It was clean. Two kitchens. Two bathrooms and one extra toilet. The pool is not heated. Lots of seating around the pool. Quiet area. Bakery for breakfast croissants just down the road. 26 minutes into attractions of Bordeaux by car. The breakfast was exceptionally good with the biggest choice of any breakfast buffet I've ever seen. The bed very big and comfortable. The lady at check-in and also at check-out were very charming and helpful.
The location of the hotel is a little outside the centre but a cosy walk along the river gets you there in 20 minutes. The tram station is outside the hotel and only takes 5 stops into town if you don't feel like walking.
The log cabin is simply lovely. We stayed for Christmas and were made to feel very welcome by our hosts. The cabin is at the bottom of the garden. You have total privacy. But the hosts are available if you have any questions. The cabin is really cosy and peaceful and well equipped. We had a very relaxing time. Thank you Fabienne. 😊
Perfect location, down a quiet street which is located two streets away from the main buzz of the city which is fantastic.
The place was very clean with beautiful decor. The kitchen had everything you would need. Not that we did much cooking with all the lovely food places on our doorstep. The TV had access to Netlflix and YouTube which was nice for a bit of music around the room. It is cosy and perfect for a romantic break to Bordeaux.
The key was easily found and host sent lovely messages with instructions and advice on things to do.
The staff was absolutely lovely and very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel was very charming - an older building with the main areas beautifully restored, and our room modern, clean and spacious, with a huge bathroom and very comfortable bed. The location was perfect. Thank you so very much to the staff for making our visit to Bordeaux so wonderful.
We've stayed in a family room just for one night but it was fantastic experience. Room is very spacious, with cosy and smart separate WC/bathroom. There is a balcony full of flowers overlooking the central square, the view is the best you can get in the city centre. There're a lot of period features: tall ceilings with a beautiful plasters, marble fireplace with the huge old mirror - place full of character and history. However it's not the place for those, looking for a modern and sleek style.
