An amazing place in the middle of the woods, though the popular bus stop to the center is 15 minutes walk away from it. All the amenities you can think of you'll find at the place, maybe except for a TV but there are better views to look at. Some lovely touches like a city and national park guides, that made our trip much more fun and organised.

An absolutely charming little place with the best of views to the archipelago. The Majamaja is a testament to minimalistic Nordic deco and a comfortable retreat to spend a couple of days, equipped with everything one needs to relax and enjoy a simple life near nature. The off-grid concept made the experience unique and was quite fascinating too. If you are prepared to let the sun guide your consumption of electricity and water (which is sort of the point), this place is a must to experience. Will definitely have a staycation here again!

They had their own private fresh water lake to swim in. Swim, sauna and breakfast were included in the price. Such an idyllic location. Staff were lovely.
Location of the hotel on the island creates a magical atmosphere, spacious and comfortable rooms, magnificient view, charming staff, excellent food, free rental bikes and nearby metro station make travelling to the city center and surroundings easy, cozy sauna and pool, quiet and calm atmosphere

We felt very comfortable in the cottage by the lake. The cottage is very cosy and very well equipped, with everything you need. The private sauna and access to the lake was our personal highlight. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We had a very nice time and the stay in the cottage was definitely our favourite part of our trip to Finland. Our dream night in Finland! The house is very cozy and accessible via local transportation or car. Poppii was very welcoming and prepared for us an AMAZING salmon soup that we'll never forget.
The cottage is very clean and feels very new. The fireplace is very warm and safe and easy to use.
The sauna is perfect, and the ability to go sit by your own personal pier with a coffee ( or swim in the cold cold lake) is just splendid. The lake is beautiful.
