Simple, quiet, clean… warm - perfect for an unusual cold and rainy time in northern Spain!
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
We stayed in one of several self-catering bungalows in the complex. Except for one night we were the only guests. The weather was cloudy and at times wet but we had access to good laundry facilities. It was a good location for walking. Access to the complex was via electronic gates which made it very safe.
Beautifully renovated traditional house. Sleeping there is an experience. The house is a excellent example of the architectural adaptation to the conditions of altitude and climate. Thick stone walls, small windows an wooden ceilings. A travel back in time to the most romantic version of the Asturian mountain country side house.
