The view from the apartment was absolutely stunning, looking over the Orotava Valley down towards Puerto de La Cruz. The apartment was actually a house, originally built in the sixties and upgraded much more recently. Its ‘balcon’, gardens and swimming pool were worth a visit just on their own. The owner had left a photo album of the renovation works for visitors: pretty impressive.

This is my second stay at this incredible place, and I’m already looking forward to returning in the future. The house is beautiful, surrounded by banana plantations, with peaceful trails through the fields. It’s just a 5-minute drive to the best beaches in Tenerife. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway, far from the hustle and bustle. The real highlight, though, is Manolo, the fantastic host. He’s warm, friendly, and truly makes the place feel authentic. Highly recommended!

The villa was exactly as described. The accommodation was great, the pool and decking area was fantastic. Views of the ocean and volcano were stunning. The sunsets were to die for! Gemma (the host) was so very helpful, kind and on hand if any thing was needed (like recommendations for restaurants, beaches and surf schools). We felt like we lived like locals and had an absolutely great vacation.

Just one word - Perfect! We picked the Casita based on the nice reviews and photos and we got 100% what we were looking for! Total privacy, great well-equipped kitchen, super clean house, comfy bed, awesome pool which is not heated but the kids did not mind at all and us adults? We did something for our health at least :) Plus there is an outdoor kitchen with a great wood/charcoal grill + another bathroom so that you do not need to go to the main one inside the house when getting of the pool totally wet. The house is placed inbetween two small wineyards on a steep hill, away from the main street, so car is a must I guess but parking is not a problem as you get a VIP spot in the garrage.
The host, Orbelinda, was really super communicative and quick to respond. Nothing was a problem.
Oh, not to forget, you will totally enjoy the sunsets from one of the two terraces + Teide is in front of you all day if the clouds allow the view :)

I was looking for something like this, but FINCA LA PLANTACIÓN exceeded my expectations. The apartment is cozy, clean, and very well furnished. The outdoor spaces are simply amazing, I couldn't have imagined anything better. The real gem for us was the BBQ area on a balcony facing the sea, fully equipped for a delightful dinner. A pleasant 30-minute walk brings you to wonderful black sandy beaches, with the closest one featuring a charming chiringuito for sunset beers. Last but not least, Jose is the best host ever!
I highly recommend this apartment to people who prefer to live in the countryside. It is far away from the crowds and close enough to visit the city on foot if you don’t want to drive. The road to the cottage is steep and narrow, but you get used to it. If you are going to rent a car, I recommend that it is as small and as powerful as possible. Except on the highway, all the roads on the island are very narrow and steep.
From the host, we got as many avocados as we could eat😊.
This felt like a human settlement on a moon. We decided to treat ourselves with two nights in this hotel and it was exactly as pampering as I hoped. Enormous comfortable bed, clean rooms, nice small swimming pool and sauna. Delicious breakfast choices. With a view of Teide on top. Really charming place. If you are not familiar with the concept of “Paradores”, I recommend reading something about it online. It is fascinating project of the Spanish government, dating almost 100 years back.
I recommend this appartment for everyone who values:

- Sauna & Jacuzzi. Sauna goes to max. 65 degrees.
Sauna, Jacuzzi and fireplace is shared with other holidayappartments which wasn’t a problem at all.
Gato Coliving is really charming, the house is very confortable and the spaces of working are good and with a lot of ligth.
Is very well located with a Mercadona just 3 minutes away.
Theres a sauna in the house (with an extra payment but still cheap if you share) and is really awesome to have the option of organizing a sauna night.

Incredible location! Especially if you want to go hiking in the Teide park. We also loved the fireplace, sauna and swimming pool and how relaxed the staff were although we were caught in a snow storm.
