I was a little sceptical at first, because the reviews here were extremely postive. But I must admit: It's all true. Joan and John are absolutely lovely and their little home away from home is just perfect (as was the cake). There's everything one could wish for: The upstairs bed is very roomy, the telly has all the channels, the sofa is extendable, the bathroom is super clean, the kitchen is well equipped and there is even a Weber grill outside. So if the weather permits, you can sit outside or explore Skagen with bikes from the shed. If you have a day with severe weather like we did, it is definitely okay to stay in. In any case, you will have a great stay.

Good location and cozy room with a small terrace. OK breakfast. Nice gentleman running the place. Parking spaces were easy to find in front of the hotel.
Ours was a spacious apartment on one of the cosy streets of Skagen. It had a huge lounge/kitchen, with cosy and stylish bedrooms attached to it. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. The harbour, with its fish restaurants, is just a few minutes away. A grocery store (Lidl) is nearby. We really loved the terras with a glimpse of the sea in the view - a perfect place to enjoy your coffee.
The cabin where we stayed was not too big but had everything that was necessary for our comfortable stay. The staff have provided us with a child bed and chair. There were nice facilities (playground, swimming pool etc.) on the campsite.
Toftegarden Guesthouse is a super place to stay in the beautiful town of Skagen. It has everything you could ask for, including a sauna and wellness area. The hosts have thought of everything. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the main street and a 20 minute walk from the beach. I would highly recommend
I stayed in a small cottage in June 2024. The location is very quiet -- close to the dune and about 8 minutes drive to the sea. The cottage is really well equipped with everything you need to cook, however it's a self-catering cottage -- you're expected to clean the house yourself afterwards. There is an additional charge for bed linen (if I remember correctly, about 20 euros).
The cottage is well-equipped with everything you need (except from a microwave). Small, but well laid out, and very cozy. It’s possible to order food from the store at the entrance. It’s expensive but very convenient.
The place was fairy tale charming. We had a wee cabin containg a bed. Bathe and kitchen were a walk across a a bac yard, by a koy pond and across a little bridge. It was en hanting. I loved it. All for $100 CAD.
