Lars and his family were very friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure our kids had an enjoyable time on the farm. We rode horses, played with legos, jumped on the trampoline and pedaled the mini bike/scooters.

Nice and silent location. Plenty of space. Kids loved toys provided. Helpful host. There were clean and cosy rooms, spacious backyard with large table for breakfast.
We received recommendations from host where to go, where to do shopping, where it is worth to eat, how to save.
We took a bus 144 from <Billund airport> to <Grindstedvej V Granvej> bus stop, then 7min walk to location. Unfortunately this bus goes only every 2h. Second option is to take bus to bus station <Billund Centret>, there is more frequent buses. Tickets can be purchased from bus driver by cash or by app <RejseBillet>.
It is possible to go Legoland, Lalandia and Lego House by foot.
We chose to visit those by foot. It was not a problem even for our 2 years kid.

It's an old farmhouse, so it was very big. I think the family still lived there a couple of years ago and then they turned it in a holiday home. We picked the keys up at the house of the owner. A very nice lady handed me the keys. At departure we could drop the keys in a box near the house. At first we thought the Wifi wasn't working (the code was in the info folder but we couldn't find the network). After calling the lady of the house she explained where we could turn the Wifi on. So the teenagers were very happy.

Amazing hosts that made you really welcome. This place is amazing for families. Beautiful gardens, playground, horses that you can ride for no charge, chickens, strawberries and Redcurrant you can pick and eat. The apartment was big and cozy. The fireplace is lit up every evening and you can grill on it. Can’t wait to come back.
I loved location, all popular locations was very close (aquapark, lego house, legoland and Billund city centre)
Also our property (village cabin) was realy cozy and there was all necessary things you need for cooking your own food. But the best thing is the all outside activities for children, many playgrounds, all lego details, trampolines and farm animals.
Charming, clean and cosy little apartment located in a nice quiet neighbourhood and yet not too far from the Legohouse where all the shops, supermarkets and restaurants are. The free parking lot that came with the apartment was also one of the main reasons why we chose here, we got apartment no.: 1 by the way.

Clean basic place, all you needed for self catering. Despite the cold weather, the room was warm and cozy.

If you are looking for a 5*Hotel you are definitely in the wrong hotel - if you like an old charming and cozy hotel - this is the place to stay for you.
The lodge was spacious, very comfortable and cosy. Would have been a nice touch if there was a welcome pack for guests arriving. The bedlinen cost extra and wasn't really adequate for a resort with a pool. The location was perfect for exploring the area and the staff were very helpful.
Our stay was perfect. The room was cozy and had everything we needed for a couple of days. The Lodge is close to everything in Billund, and has a nice environment. Being there feels like comforting, calming and we had the chance to retrieved. The Leaf restaurant is also highly recommended. Thank you for that experience 💚
Although the locality was a little far from the city, the countryside was beautiful and quiet. The hosts were really nice and helpful. The room we stayed in was really comfortable and cozy.
Excellent place. A farmhouse with an attached farm having the owner's pet horses. The feel was of living in a cottage. It is a short drive from the city. Very idyllic location in the lap of nature. There is a table with chairs outside the room also to sit and enjoy the scenery around. There is a trampoline. Owner was helpful in guiding for eateries in Billund. Each room / cottage has a dedicated spot just outside the room to park car. Good place to refresh yourself during a visit to Legoland.
