Huge apartment with comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful garden. Sadly, we arrived quite late and left early as we were transporting dogs from Albania to the UK but would love to go back when we have more time. Our hosts were really patient and put up with our late arrival (and barking dogs!).

This historic house is very beautiful and set in a quiet part of town. It has many original features such as coloured glass windows and has been updated to include modern facilities such as a dishwasher and washing machine. The hosts have provided all gadgets that you might need. There's easy parking on the road and it's about a 15 minute walk into the centre of town. However, there is a pub serving food a few minutes up the hill with a convenience store in the same place. A small restaurant is on the street, but it was closed for summer holidays when we visited. The main room is large and tastefully decorated with a sofa and sofa bed (As the second bed is in the room it may not be suitable if you need separate sleeping places). The bathroom with WC is downstairs near the kitchen, with a small shower but is clean and functional. The garden is private and well tended with seating and a table. Saarbrucken is quite a big town and we found some great shopping. The hidden gem is the zoo which we visited on a wet day with hardly anyone else there. Allow at least 4 hours to get around.

It is a charming apartment with a lot of sunshine. The balcony is a plus. The apartment is right at the center of the city, it closes to everything. Bus stops are right around the corner. Grocery store is in walking distance. We enjoyed nice walks to train station which is not too far away. The city is very nice. It has a lot of churches and parks.
The sauna and swimming pool were great.

The kitchen had everything we needed to cook simple meals. There's also an Aldi nearby, which was great.
The place was clean and cozy. I loved that we could make the room completely dark with the blinds.

Nice and cosy place. Well equipped kitchen with every appliance you need. Thumbs up for the fireplace and the jacuzzi. The owners are so friendly and helpful. One of the best stays in many years.
