We loved being in the beautiful and historic Tauber Valley just outside the Old City Wall. It was beautifully situated on the hill for autumn color views. Such a quaint and charming location! The heated kitchen and bathroom floor was cozy. Lots of kitchen supplies for cooking and eating on site. Super cozy bedrooms and homey spaces.

Situated on a picturesque street in the center of town, Birgit’s pension was charming and very comfortable stay in the Rothenberg ob der Tauber. Our ensuite room was located up a flight of stairs and was very clean and cosy. When looking out the window, you have a great view of the town and the overlooking rooftops. Birgit was very friendly and welcoming, she kindly let us leave our bags while we explored on our last day and offers a station with a kettle with tea and coffee etc
This historical hotel, located in the heart of town between the main church and the central square, is a true Bavarian gem. The Bavarian architecture and tastefully decorated rooms create a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The hotel also features a charming restaurant and a delightful Biergarten. Furthermore, we absolutely cherished the cozy spa, which we had all to ourselves. The hotel staff, in general, was courteous and friendly.
Excellent location within city walls and close to everything. Very nicely restored old property and to a high standard. Bed was comfortable, shower excellent, lighting and general amenities good for a two night stay. It was spotlessly clean. The views from the rooftop apartment were lovely of open countryside. The rooftop apartment had a lot of character and low beams, so if you are over 6’1”, not so good.
The hotel is in a great location. The room was clean, warm, and cozy. The beds were amazing and the bedding smelled absolutely lovely. It was a great place to stay the first two nights along the Romantic Road after landing in Frankfurt. And there are two nesting storks close by!
Nice and affordable accomodation in the center of romantic Rothenburg. Attic room was clean, small and cute, and location was perfect. I loved squeeking wooden floors and tight stairs, it added to cozyness of the place. We also had our own bathroom which was great. Breakfast was also amazing with lot of options to choose from. I loved that we got designated breakfast table and our own big jug of coffee. Would deff stay there again.
A beautiful small hotel with a charming atmosphere. The room was cozy with plenty of space and extremely comfortable, with great views of the natural scenes surrounding the area. The host is super nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the views from dinning room were also wonderful.
