Our first room was incredibly hot and when we mentioned it after the first night we were allocated to a cooler and much nicer room, so hospitable!
The facilities are great, nice pool with a bar and clean/safe saunas.
The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful field that you look out on and can walk around.
There are horses and a petting zoo just opposite the hotel for kids :)

Cozy area around the middle of Spreewald, just by some canals on the other side of the road. The room was facing a lovely courtyard to sit and relax, or enjoy breakfast/dinner. Room in our case was small but fitted everything needed, gave an old-timey sense and appeal. Lovely and helpful staff. Fine breakfast included, what you'd expect from a standard buffé. Lots of areas to explore through walking, biking or canoeing the canals.

The private sauna in the room was one of the best I have experienced.
I’ve attend the bike-marathon in Spreewald. The house is wonderfull and so comfortable. Sauna is also perfect. It’s a little distance from the Burg town, but with bike it’s just no problem
Top facilities, super friendly staff, easy instructions for arrival and use of things like fireplace and sauna. All round quality complex. We used the sauna multiple times and even saw deer pass by as we were in it!
The hotel is cosy and well maintainined, in the middle of the forest. Our double room with balcony was quality furnished and confortable.
Breakfast is rich and the atmosphere there very quiet .
Beautiful, romantic spa in an untouched nature setting. Extensive breakfast & dinner buffet and free soup/ cake/ champagne at the spa. No noise, light or mobile network pollution (Wifi available). Great cycling path passing by.
Set in beautiful countryside. Our 2 room family room with kitchen was clean & very comfortable. The breakfast was the best so far on our trip. We hired kayaks from the pension to explore. 2 nights was not enough & we hope to come back for longer on our next trip to Germany.
