Very spacious property with two floors and two balconies and everything was very clean. The property owner was super friendly and helpful. The kitchen was fantastic and well equipped and there was even a nice fireplace!

Cute little house in a very picturesque town. Plenty of space for 3 people (or more), kitchen was welle equipped, the host stocked up on groceries before our arrival - so nice! Beds were comfortable. Nice showerhead (rain feeling) to end a long day of hiking. The host explained everything to us on the phone, from getting to the house to the keys, we felt very well taken care of over all.

Quiet location, 50m from the river.
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
The atmosphere has a lot of charm and the staff was great. The breakfast was good, fresh, tasty and a quaint dining area. The room was very cozy and clean.
Everything was wonderful! the hosts, the staff are very friendly, considerate and always ready to help :-))
The hotel itself is very nice and cosy, and it is located in a quiet area (which is important, especially in the evening).
It takes only 7-8 minutes to walk to the railway station and the lake!
Breakfast is really excellent, there is a selection of different kinds of food for any taste, I think :-)
The wifi is a bit slow but it's not a problem.
This classic Italianate villa was really beautifully restored, very comfortable and with excellent amenities. The modern kitchen was very useful - apparently shared but we saw no one else! Great views from the room and huge wonderful balcony/terrace. Handy for the railway and buses. We loved it!
Location is just perfect, opposite the train station. Soundproffing is very good. The restaurant, which is located in the basement, is very cozy and elegant (original stone walls can be seen through a glass wall, which makes the place charming).
The ladies were so helpful and accommodating, they even waited after hours for us to check in as we were running late and having sim card problems. The room was cosy and spotlessly clean with a lovely view of the lake and mountains. Breakfast each morning was a banquet....such a wide choice of food and very yummy. There was just a short walk to the train station, the Lake and downtown for some shopping and sightseeing. We were very happy with our stay @ Home Hotel Locarno.

The hotel also gave us a Ticino Ticket which allows free travel on all buses and trains in Ticino : we used it a lot and makes travelling in the region very easy
Simple accommodation yet full of character. Feels like a cozy old mountain lodge, yet amenities were modern. We arrived very late at night and the staff was there to help us. The whole set-up is straightforward. The bar lends fun and character to the place.
