Amazing views and a super cozy space with everything I needed! The location was excellent—walkable to everything while also being removed from some of the touristy craziness in town. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and comfortable too!

The environment was so cozy and family like. It was a nice thing to keep the shoes out of rooms and providing slippers. The facilities were very good and clean such as the bathroom and spacious showers. The kitchen was good and there are enough places to dine in. It is just a friendly and cosy atmosphere which allowed me to make some new friends there.

We were a bit worried that it would be cold in the eager cabin in January, but the heating worked perfectly. The cabin itself is tiny but very cosy, comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed every minute.
The facilities are new and very well maintained. We spent evenings in the lounge with a fireplace, sofas and hammock.
We used a free bus to get to the train stations. It worked smoothly.
This was the best atmosphere I've experienced in a hostel, I felt welcomed right away by both staff and guests. I never felt lonely here. It was chill and good fun, but not like those crazy party hostels where you can't sleep. This hostel actually had rules about quiet hours so you could go to sleep early if you wanted to. The backyard had a lovely view of the mountains and countryside. I wish I would have stayed a bit longer. I loved the fireplace where you could barbecue or just hang out with people.
we love everything about the chalet, including the cat Wilson who lives in a barn nearby. It felt like home away from home, the chalet us cosy and well equipped with everything we need. We wish we can stay longer! We enjoyed the delightful walk with beautiful spring blooms along the path and cute cottages with the majestic mountain views. it’s like a dream comes true. Dave and Patricia are the best hosts we encountered in our whole time in Switzerland catering to our every needs. Highly appreciated and recommended.
Beautiful chalet with well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa and bed, and a fabulous fireplace that kept us toasty warm. The wi-fi was fast and whilst we didn’t use, there was a bbq and sauna too.
Was lovely listening to the water of the stream nearby at night.
The host was very friendly and accomodating.
We would be happy to stay again next time we return to Lauterbrunnen.
Just an all around solid place to stay. Location was great…not a big city/tourist feel…feels very quaint. Views are incredible. Staff was super friendly and responsive. Fuchsbau (fox cabin / bungalow) was all we needed. Facilities were clean and nice. Would stay there again in a heart beat and recommend it to people going to this area.
