Our first time staying at this cozy cottage and we just adored it. First and foremost, it’s in a prime location. Everything is in walking distance. Our hosts were very sweet and accommodating. The cottage was very clean and they thought of everything a guest could possible need (including face cloths. :) ) The beds are super cozy and we just felt right at home. Our fur baby loved it too.

The Dainty Petunia, hotel in Picton

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, The Dainty Petunia is set in Picton. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge.

The suite is very nicely decorated with all the amenities you could possibly need. Some added extras that went the extra mile included: a small speaker to play music, a diffuser created a spa-like vibe, and a welcome bottle of wine was a wonderful touch. The hosts thought of everything and made me feel like they were there if we needed anything but otherwise allowed us to enjoy our privacy.

The location is great. Very close to Wellington. The coffee and breakfast snacks were amazing. The hot tub was amazing with a great view, we used it multiple times just to ourselves. This place is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. The check in and check out was the best I’ve experienced. We were sent a code and came and left as we pleased. Zero hassle. Can’t say enough good things about this place. The attention to detail with decorations was very cute and pleasant to be around.

We had a lovely time staying at this sweet, comfortable and carefully built small hotel! The warm pastries, tea, coffee and all the thoughtful extras (towels+++) were delightful. We enjoyed the comfy bed, generous room size, the hot tub and the quiet countryside. A unique place to stay- it reflects the care and hard work of the owners!

The Grapevine King Suite was cozy and comfortable, had more than we expected: plates, cutlery, bowls, a Keurig with coffee and teas, a kettle, and assorted glasses, and a small fridge. I would just suggest a clearer marking of cottage number 6 at the patio door because that is the door visible from where you park. And it did take more than a few attempts to get the key code to work even though we were entering the correct code, the lock may just need a new battery. We just used the patio door to get in and out with a key.

The room was cozy, clean well lit, and comfortable. Almost a home away from home. The cups, glassware, coffee and pastries were all great. The jacuzzi/ hot tub was also well lit and the space can be used for so much.
