We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were taken by its cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It was in a quiet neighborhood. There were plenty of amenities. There was privacy. The host was very nice. The property management company was helpful. Owner of property is very nice. Like that we were not in all the congestion of downtown. Liked that it was easy access to things around the outside of the city. Still very close to multiple restaurants. Very nice stay. This lovely home offered our family a great base while we were in town for a wedding. Beds were comfy, the two bedrooms were on separate floors, and the place was very clean and tasteful. Bonus was the deck seating looking out over some green space. A small beach was a 2-minute walk away.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Absolutely gorgeous off the grid cabin! There is a rain water shower and a few hours of electricity from a generator. Lots of animals including an occasional black bear.
What more do you need?
I was biking on the way up to lake cowichan. The hideaway was real close to the bike trail and close to a nice pub/resteraunt. The hot tub was really welcome after a day in the saddle. Nice friendly hosts.
This house is spectacular. The location is great and beautiful. But most importantly, the host have made sure that all needs are covered by offering a myriad of amenities. The kitchen is very well stocked and there are so many board games to choose from. The hot tub and pool table are excellent additions as well!
The accommodation was somehow special. Away from civilization on a farm.
The daughter showed as the accommodation and also a little bit around the farm.
We had our own cottage, which was nice.
The apartment was beautiful and had everything someone might need. The bed was extremely comfortable. Our host was understanding about a late arrival (we wanted to see Butchart Gardens at night), and we were able to use a code when we arrived. We loved using the hot tub the next morning.
had everything you needed and much more! a gift basket with snacks.. great coffee! everything is new..very clean...and beautifully decorated! hot tub was a great bonus!
The ranch was exactly as advertised which I appreciate the most. It is off the electric and water grid but the owner's innovations made up for it. All the animals looked well cared for. Breakfast was delicious and the owner brings it right to your cabin at the time of your choosing.
Back to basics! Breakfast was delicious. We lucked out with weather and had sunshine and the frogs croaking in the night with some snow in patches still on the ground. Farm animals were all very awesome and interesting. It was neat watching the crows interact with the chickens and ducks. The cabin was every kids dream come true.. super cute! The trail ride was amazing.. so glad we got to go. Host was accommodating and friendly. Can’t wait to visit again.
