I loved having access to a canoe to get into the lake! I loved how clean and stocked the cabins were. The instructions were clear and helpful. The view from the cabin was immaculate. The property is 20 mins from Arrowhead one way and 30 minutes to Agonquin the other way. When we went, we did not get a pass for Algonquin because they sold out, but Arrowhead was just as pretty.

The proximity to the park was the goal for us. I'm a photographer so up and out early. The place was very clean, newer, and well equipped. Nice and quiet for our two nights. I'd say they could put a door mat at front door (it's winter and messy). There is a boot tray which was great. We had a dog and dog towel so we were okay and careful to dry her paws. Otherwise you're right onto the flooring and carpet. A roll of paper towel would be great! And perhaps more info on website about coffee machine details. Filter type etc. We took instant and survived. Lol. We'd go back. 😀

We recently stayed at a lovely cottage and loved it! It was super clean and beautifully decorated. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking easy. Relaxing on the outdoor patio was amazing. The location was perfect for both relaxing and enjoying outdoor activities. The hosts were welcoming and ensured we had a great stay. I highly recommend this retreat for a relaxing getaway!
I choose The Doma Lodge to celebrate my birthday with my husband and baby. We had a great time in this cozy cabin. It was very clean and We felt like home. Baby had fun outside on the woods. We had quality time together and for sure, We will come back.
We stayed in one of the Mapleview rooms and were very happy with our stay. The price was amazing and I enjoyed the jet tub after a day hiking at the nearby Limberlost Reserve. We also enjoyed the fireplace. We would definitely consider coming back during the spring/summer/fall to get out on the lake. I would like to stay in one of the stand-alone cottages. Location is good for exploring the area and close enough to Hunstville for amenities.
Lovely hosts, they even gave me an upgraded cabin because there was not too much to do because of the weather so that i at least had a fireplace in my cabin.
Great location, nice cottage and nice team. I could imagine how nice this place is in the summer or fall. Extremely relaxing and great communication with the team. Check in was easy, finding our cabin was also easy.
Size and layout of The Hilltop was great. very clean and warm. 2 Beds not comfortable-we rolled into the middle. Lovely pool saunaandhottub. Good gameroom. Lots of dining and kitchen space, and rooms for activities. Great fireplace and wood supply.
We were worried that showing up late would limit our ability to grab firewood for our first night but were happy to arrive to a fully furnished cabin with logs ready to light! They keys were waiting for us on the bulletin board which was nice, given that we stopped in for dinner prior.
Cottage was cozy, the pool and sauna were wonderful. Views of the lake and surrounding premises were nice. We enjoyed the skating/ tubing.
