The location was fantastic, easy access for both skiing down to the gondola/lifts and returning back for the end of the day. The hot tub was in a perfect location, the interior of the house blew our expectations out of the water regarding the overall feel of “log cabin in the mountains”.

Fantastic place! The tinny home had everything we needed. The place was more spacious than I expected, it had a full kitchen, sofa, bathroom, and a pull out bed. The sauna was super cute (basically a tree house) and the host was super responsive and courteous. Definitely would recommend!

The breakfast was unbelievable! Every day we had an amazing elaborated breakfast . The lodge is located in a quiet area surrounded by forest just 10 min driving from golden town where there are good restaurants and bars . The rooms are so very well decorated and with the most comfortable beds. The hot tub and sauna are a plus. The hosts are fantastic and they gave us the best recommendations (sites to visit, hikes , kayak and restaurants).

Beautiful big lodge which is far enough from town to feel secluded without being too remote. Cathy and Bruce have done an amazing job in creating a comfortable and relaxing experience with lots of thoughtful touches. The sauna and hot tub were a real treat and the homemade breakfasts were a highlight of our whole trip!
The lodge was lovely, staff exceptionally friendly. Bistro food was very good. I would suggest that the breakfast could have some more cold options other than cereal and toast. Local bakery products, boiled eggs, fresh local bagels, (loved the homemade granola BTW), fresh muffins rather than packaged (over processed). It would be nice to have an infra red Sauna and a hot tub to make the lodge experience more valueblen for money.
The Lodge and our hosts Cathy & Bruce were just amazing. The breakfast was delicious and so special. Everything was spotlessly clean and cozy. The whole house was beautifully decorated for Christmas - we felt welcome and at home from the first moment.
The Lodge is located on a hill, surrounded by mountains and forest. It's about a 15-minute drive from Golden Downtown. We loved the peace and quiet (sitting in a hot tub while looking at the snowy mountain peaks), while being able to go out for dinner and walks by car.

Beautiful log cabin/lodge. Lovely comfortable rooms. Large hot tub was fabulous. Breakfast each morning is different and really nice. Hosts are super friendly and accommodating. A few minutes from golden and a good location to travel out to yoho and Banff National parks.
The lodge is set in a quiet location with stunning views - about 15 min drive from Golden. The room was exceptionally well appointed and was very clean. The bathroom was a very good size with both a bath and shower. The hot tub and sauna were a welcome surprise! Cathy and Bruce were exceptional hosts, really welcoming and Cathy’s breakfast was superb - filling and exceptionally tasty. Thank you for a fabulous stay!
