We loved the stay. I went with my 9 year old son and he absolutely loved being able to interact with all the animals. The hosts were very friendly and the firepit was a big hit at night.
Highly recommended for families who want to enjoy some friendly animals. Being able to get so close to a deer was also special, as there was one at the farm.
Enjoy lovely views of the Fleurieu Peninsula from your own private patio at Lush Pastures, a 33-acre property offering gourmet meals based on seasonal local produce.

Huge house, plenty of space for large group, great facilities including pool table, table tennis, great kitchen. Loved the space, comfy beds.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
It was set back from the main road, so it was quiet but easy to access the road out of the area. It was central to Rapid Bay, Normanville and Kangaroo Island to name but a few of areas of Tourist interest. The room had a Microwave, Fridge, Toaster, Tea and Coffee facilities. The owners had provided a complimentary basket of goodies, such as Biscuits (Tim Tams) Crisps, sweets, Cheesy savoury snacks etc. I would recommend the Lodge without hesitation.
Wonderful little cottage in a peaceful location. Great place to go for a quiet time and long sleeps, but also quick drives to all the fantastic towns, food, beaches and sights on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.
Spacious studio room in lodge. Great aircon especially on 40degree day. Old style but lovely.
Cottage where my daughter stayed was great spacious room.
Incredible cottages, absolutely beautiful scenery, Staff were incredible to deal with, Came down and introduced themselves as soon as we arrived, Incredible knowledge on the history of the cabins and the area. Beautiful little breakfasts included for each morning. Would definitely come back for a longer stay
As we were celebrating our 62nd anniversary, a stone cottage over 100 years old in a delightful garden in a pleasant wooded area was exactly right. Matthew went out of his way to see that we were comfortable. Everything was neat, clean, top-quality and nicely arranged. The kitchenette was fine for light meals. There was only one thing we felt we needed--that was a bowl and a bench where we could wash the dishes. (Unfortunately, because of constant rain it was not easy to use the outdoor table.)
