It was a great experience staying here. Lots of space, very few cottages, and an amazing atmosphere. The hotel manager was nice and sweet. She left some cheese in the fridge, offered a bottle of rose, and made sure we had a ready to go fireplace with some extra wood to keep the cabin warm for 2 nights.
We definitely have to come back!
This was a spacious, modern, cosy 3 bedroom lodge (all with ensuites!) and the Golf Course as its backyard. It featured a loungeroom with gas fireplace set in a sandstone mantle and a beautiful light-filled open plan living / kitchen. It even had a remote-controlled lock up garage for the car. We would definitely recommend!
Beautiful cottage with a cosy fireplace! Great location close to wineries. We stayed as a group of friends so the multiple beds and baths were convenient.
Hermitage lodge is well situated close to main areas in Pokolbin. Within walking distance to some lovely wineries (First Creek, Vinden, etc.). We had a suite which was incredibly spacious and well equipped. The fireplace in the living area was cosy and we enjoyed the spa on the deck (even in the cold!). The bathroom and walk in robe was nice and spacious. It was helpful having a kitchen.
The food at the restaurant on site, Pescara, was delicious and the service was wonderful.
The cabin was private and cosy with an open fireplace and a complimentary bottle of wine. We did wine tasting on site and had dinner in the restaurant. The owner (Darryl) was very hospitable and even let us pick a few herbs from the garden. We went for a run around the property on the final morning at sunset which was amazing as there were kangaroo's along the entire trail.
i loved everything about this villa. The stay was so cozy and comfortable, the hot tub and fireplace were the highlight of our stay including the king bed and complimentary breakfast and snacks. The villa is in a great location, easy to get to hunter valley and restaurants. Definitely planning on staying next year for our third year anniversary!
Very charming farm house with 2.5 modern bathrooms and kitchen. Such an idyllic location overlooking the vineyards and a stones throw from central Pokolbin. On site winery and cellar door with friendly staff and great wines. Spacious inside; outside lots of room and green space for the kids. Cosy fireplace and reverse cycle air con.
