You walk out the back gate onto a grassy area and then the beach. The villa was beautiful, clean and walking distance to a cafe, pub, pizza shop and brewery.

A stones throw from Picnic Beach and some great restaurants, bus stop was just as close!
Quiet and cosy, but also a great way of meeting other travellers. The owners dog, Louis, was at the property everyday and was a great company to all! Was very sad to say goodbye. Will definitely be back!
We loved Turtle Cottage! Our highlight was to find two koalas in the tree in front of the house. The house itself is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen fully equipped. There's also a big pattio in the garden, where we could relax and eat in the shade. We loved waking up to the sound of birds. It's just a short walk to Picnic Bay beach, which has a stinger net. This is also where the bus stops, so it's easy to travel to Nelly Bay or other parts of the island. The owners are very lovely and helpful.
Janette the owner was lovely and was there to greet us on arrival and show us around. It is a really charming cottage that has lovely spaces in which to chill. Open plan, spacious, high ceilings, surrounded by nature, right near Picnic Bay. Can't go wrong :-)
The apartment was amazing, it was very clean and cozy. It had everything we needed and more. The hosts were very helpful and kind. It was a bit secluded but that we liked and its very easy to get around the island with either Bus, cars, eletric mopeds or if you like to walk its not that far to nellybay.
We liked the setting. The uniqueness of the cottage. Well supplied kitchen with cooking utensils, gas oven, coffee maker, four slice toaster, good size fridge and freezer, great undercover outdoor area with own fridge/freezer and bbq. Great setting for photography and of course Yallambee the koala in a tree adjacent to the property. Walking distance to the foreshore, the jetty and the eateries. Janette & Rocky were great hosts, very welcoming.
Little gem in paradise. Nice and cosy, managers take good care of you and the facilities are great. Well maintained and in a good location. Managers are really knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time there. We think it was not enough time to stay! Highly recommended.
