Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The cottage was spacious and easily accommodated two adults and two young children. It was close to the railway station (for the start of the Hotham Valley Railway) and the townsite.
Such a beautiful location! It rained quite a bit while we were there but it almost made it more magical. The grounds are lovely surrounded by trees, with little rivers running. Lighting the fire made it lovely and cozy in the cottage.
Location great. 5 minute walk to town centre. The house was lovely and catered for 7 people with ease. The kitchen had everything you need. Lovely big table and plenty of seating. Cosy wood fire. Lovely bathrooms and the linen was very nice. Julie our host was very pleasant and made the arrival and stay an easy and pleasant experience.
Spaciousness of the cabins were much roomier than expected. Kitchen was well equipped and the pre-made fire just waiting to be lit when we got there was a lovely touch!!
