Everything about this stay exceeded my expectations. I'm so glad I listened to the other positive reviews on Canyonleigh Retreat! Kush, one of the owners, has so much passion for what they are striving for here and you can see in every detail how much thought has been put in.
The room was comfortable and spacious, plunger coffee and loose leaf tea provided, mini bar and the softest bathrobes! The property is fully accessible for those with additional mobility needs, with ramps and stepless showers - in the regular rooms there is a threshold step but there is also a fully stepless room with ramp access for wheelchairs and an accessible bathroom with fold down bench seat. As an OT, I loved seeing this level of thought!
We used the BBQ area and we were provided with plates and cutlery. There are plenty of beautiful spaces to sit and enjoy the property and a fire under the starts was a perfect finish to the day.
I already can't wait to come back and see how they continue to grow the space. I think this is a very special find 💕

A great property that totally lived up to our expectations. We had a destination wedding close by and this was the perfect place for the 4 of us to stay. The property was very clean and tidy with easy access via the clearly marked driveway entrance. We had driven down from Queensland and it was nice to see some food staples stocked and the chocolates were a winner with the kids. We would very happily stay here again.

This was our first time staying in an B & B, Meriba B and B exceeded our expectations. Such a lovely home with a separate set up living space for the B and B guests with fireplace, games, movies and books. The room was cosy and comfortable. The best part of the visit were the two wonderful rescue dogs. So friendly and gentle. Will definitely book again if we are visiting the area.
The bushland garden setting was very tranquil especially with all the beautiful birds landing on the deck. Its a cosy cottage, great for a weekend escape. Would love to come in winter and get the wood fire roaring.
Had a lovely dinner downstairs in the bistro. Watched cricket on the large tv’s. Great location opposite charming heritage shops. Kids were keen to swim in the pool. Room face the railway but didn’t find the sound of the occasional train disturbing, it was more of a soft lulling sound.
