The room is quite clean and cozy, stylish decorated, plus a terrace with nice view.
My daughter has been crying tonight for leaving her favo ear ring in the room , fortunately my lovely host Sybille found it and would like to post to me. Thank you sweet Sybille , you offered not only a nice stay, but also a happy ending. 😊
Good location within walking distance to Pörtschach railway station. The hotel is very clean, breakfast was tasty with a lot of options. The single room ("Swiss cottage") was in a separate part of the building with entrance directly from the yard.
The location of this intimate, cozy little hotel is like none other. It was so lovely to sit at the breakfast admiring the lake and the mountains. There is a possibility for a private dock for swimming close by and the local train is fast, reliable and easy to use. We cot a plus card at check in, that allowed us to travel with the train as much as we needed. This card might only be available if you stay for a longer than 3 days. The staff could not be more nice and helpful, absolutely lovely people!
Not very modern and up to date facilities or interior, but a cozy, warm and honest hotel. Historic building and scenic, central location. Great dock area and swimming opportunities. Huge rooms with around 3 m height to ceiling on our second floor rooms. We really enjoyed our stay.
This place is magical, with its cozy yet classy feel and its beautiful access to the lake. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating (not only at the reception but also at breakfast, what a great attitude they all had) , the room was clean and orderly, the buildings looked exceptionally well kept.

We spent a fantastic week at Salmen Cottage. The studio is cozy, airy and functional. The kitchenette is comfortable and very well equipped and the bathroom is super-clean. The windows have a breathtaking view over the lake
Our landlady and her staff, were extremely kind and professional! They were also very helpful giving us tips and advice to visit the region.
