The room was impeccably decked out. The furnishings, accessories and decor was tasteful. The appliances and utensils were practical. It was just beautiful. Access to the premises was easy and the unit was private. Access to shopping, including major malls, and the beaches, was under 5min by car and easily within walking distance if you felt like it. We loved every moment of our time there.

The place was spacious but not cleaned properly before we arrived. The taps were filthy and the place looked untidy . It needs alot of maintenance. Security asked me to turn off music which was slow. He said it was not allowed but a day later another family arrived and played loud music, was banging the chairs and screaming, breaking things and kept us awake until after 4am but nothing was done by the security. I was very disappointed with the service. The lift stopped working. The play area and games area was really nice.

Normally a beautiful safe beach but this time the water was brownish. The inflatable slide is a nice feature. You can hire a boat and paddle around the river mouth to the waterfall or try some cliff diving (safety first).

Because of very rainy weather over the weekend we had to contend with surf that was breaking into the shore with too much sand. Even when we could view the ocean from our apartment it did indicate with the dark waves from a distance that it was not suitable for swimming.
We did enjoy walking on the shore though.

Uvongo beach is the best beach I've ever seen in my 60 years...
Uvongo beach is the best beach I've ever seen in my 60 years on this planet.
Excellent food at the pavilion restaurant, swimming pool, south African hand made items on sale, paddle boats, canoeing, water slides and a host of other facilities and entertainment. Definitely coming back for more. You have to visit to view the beautiful waterfall close to the beach. Travellers, you will not be disappointed.

Uvongo Beach is a gem.
Uvongo Beach is a gem. It is a lovely secluded area with lots of character. There are many activities nearby and we loved having access to the Shelley Beach Mall. The combination of lagoon access and surf access is wonderful.

The view was great, the kitchen was well-equipped. comfortable lounge. Good location & close to shops & Uvongo beach. Host very kindly arranged bath towels when we alerted him on arrival that there was only 1, and we needed 4.
The accommodation was excellent. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and neat. Very quiet area. The Uvongo beach was very close with a big Tidal Pool.
