I absolutely loved the location, right next to the beach. The waves were very calming while sleeping. Sheena gave me very easy to follow instructions on how to check in and out and how to use some of the appliances in the room. It's within walking distance of restaurants which also have views of the ocean. Checkers delivered my groceries during my stay. The room was very clean and everything functioned perfectly. The security guards at the gate were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go back there and recommend to others.

There are lot of monkeys around you can't just leave windows open coz they will mess up in the house and steal our belongings 🥺.

Umdloti is a hidden and sometimes forgotten gem on the North...
Umdloti is a hidden and sometimes forgotten gem on the North Coast.
It may lack some of the shine and glamour of Umhlanga and Ballito but it has character. There is an upmarket shopping centre on the way in with Dischem, Woolies food and some excellent restaurants. We had a great experience at Tightline, but there are other we would have liked to try. The beachfront also has a few, Foam has a nice breakfast vibe.
There is no Mr D so you have to walk or drive for food.
Umdloti is quite peaceful, usually not too noisy or busy but Umhlanga is less than 10 minutes away, Gateway a little more if you need some shopping and action.

I think your final questions of my review are a little unfair as it did not have any of the views you asked about, but did have the most stunning and spectacular sea view, overlooking the beach and ocean. The property pool is private on the top level and a real treat...

We love to go to Umdloti it is our go to beach, We like to visit Tascas they have te best ice cream and the food is amazing
La casa nostra has the most amazing food for the pasta lovers.
The beach is clean and lovely we go for sunset walks and it is not far from gateway mall
Umdloti is amazing and you will get that relaxing escape that you need

Excellent weekend getaway. The beaches were clean. Accommodation was superb, well situated apartment, modern finishes and spacious. Shops and supermarkets in close proximity and a newly developed mall a few kilometers away.

Umdloti is conveniently located, close enough to the hustle and bustle of Umhlanga but also quiet enough for you to relax. Its also easily accessible from the airport, and easy to get around the area.

The apartment is neat and tidy. It's comfortably furnished. It is well located for everything Umdloti has to offer. It's normally easy to find but with roadworks on the go at the moment my uber driver got lost and google maps was less than helpful in getting us unlost.
Perfect location at the north end of Umdloti beach road - so was nice and quiet. The whales were out in full force and the view of the ocean just a stone's throw away, was just breathtaking. Full breakfast was provided which was absolutely delicious.
The apartment was, in many aspects, superior to a 5 star hotel. The hostess was extremely helpful and always easily contactable. The location is divine.....walk out onto the safe beach
