Overall Rijks was a really nice place to stay, the Breakfast was superb, the dinners were good, the Rijks Estate wines were excellent.
The accommodation was fine but could do with some maintenance and some decor refresh but that didn’t detract from the excellent position giving open views across the Vinyard to the stunning Mountains that surround the valley.

Splendid old Cape Dutch residence, furnished in style, located at the start of Tulbagh's historic Main Street. Offers comfortable and spacious accommodation, common use of TV lounge, porch, patio and pool in fine garden and off-street parking and an excellent breakfast served in main kitchen. Congenial atmosphere. The house is affiliated with the excellent Readers restaurant a short walk away along the the historic Main Street. Would happily return.
