The location and venue was excellent. The room was lovely, we really enjoyed the space, position and outlook. The gardens and pool were a wonderful greenspace and provided a peaceful and restful escape from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town. Definitely make use of the convenient and prompt laundry service.

I first visited this hotel about 25 years ago. It's a lovely old hotel that has been stylishly updated and decorated whilst preserving the charm of the original. It's extremely comfortable and wonderfully peaceful, with great mountain views from the delightful terrace and some of the rooms. The rooms are restful, the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are great with walk-in shower and bath. The grounds are beautiful.. I could happily have stayed much longer.

We stayed here for three nights and had an excellent experience. The staff, especially Daphne, were attentive and kind. The breakfast team was outstanding. Our room was spacious, though some fixtures could use updating.
We enjoyed the privacy of the pool. The lounges were amazing, perfect for pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap.
