Andelomi Nature's Rest, hotel in Stormsrivier

Andelomi Nature's Rest is situated in Stormsrivier, 16 km from Tsitsikamma National Park and the beach.

It's a very convenient place to stay at after visiting the Tsitsikamma national park. It is a forest lodge therefore you may expect some insects and wildlife but it is part of the game. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a very nice garden. Breakfast was great, with local food and hot food available on order as well. Some restaurant options in town 2min drive. We would definitely stay there again.

Mountain Breeze Log Cabins, hotel in Stormsrivier

Located on a working Protea farm and offering views of the Tsitsikamma mountain range, Mountain Breeze Log Cabins features a children’s playground and barbecue facilities.

Upon arrival, we rang the bell, a gate opened and the reception was easy to find. We were met by the friendly owner who helpfully explained the setup and also took time to explain to us where to find restaurants or takeaway spots. Very helpful in getting us settled. The cabins are stunning, very well laid out, and provide a quiet escape from the everyday rush. The grounds are lush and inviting with protea in the surrounds, and a kiddies play area.

A lot of fun visiting the village.

A lot of fun visiting the village. A variety of activities are available. We did the segway tour and the canopy tour. The guides were exceptional and friendly. We enjoyed the tsitrus café with pizza and wine as well as Marilyn's 60's diner. We enjoyed stopping at stormsriver, getting a takeaway latté at Mugg and Bean and looking at the bridge from the lookout. We were fascinated by the Big tree as well. If you go to the canopy tours, they give you a 15% discount voucher for two resturants. There were a lot of activities including black river tubing, e-biking, renting bikes, woodcutters tour etc. Some activities you can get cheaper at the desk than online.

Wow, what a find! We absolutely loved our beautiful piece of paradise in the centre of Storms River Village. Robert has built a unique magical cabin which brings you back to nature. The accommodation and surroundings are wonderful and made exceptional by his personalised tour of his garden and his son's amazing tree house. We were encouraged to forage and explore the garden. We truly wanted to stay longer than our planned two days. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay, we hope to return one day!

We didnt have breakfast. we just booked a room because we were relocating our daughter to Tsitsikamma for the practical year of her training. I loved the urinal :) It was a great addition to normally having just the toilet. My daughter's accommodation was not up to scratch, so we were desperate for her to stay with us at on the edge. I was prepared to pay extra, but was told that it was all in order and no problem. I was very grateful. Wonderful touch.

It is really comfortable hotel. You can taste here unique South African traditional dishes for breakfast. There is a good swimming pool with a spectacular view of the mountains. Also, it is so close to Tsisikama national park. I totally recommend staying here for at least 2-3 days.
