I was actually changed from Club Hacienda to Margate Sands due to a booking.com technical glitch. So, Margate Sands was not my first choice. What was nice was the view and the fully equipped apartment.

A fantastic two night stay.
A fantastic two night stay. The resort is beautifully positioned with direct access to the Beach. Our Unit (No 4) had stunning sea views and we were treated to some great whale sightings. I would definitely recommend Club Hacienda to anyone wanting a few days of chilling.
The staff are wonderful and very welcoming and are unit was well serviced and maintained.

Beach is great.
Beach is great. The ski boat club is lovely and offers a good menu with a well stocked bar. There will be some beautiful sun rises if you are up early enough. Great tidal pool. Best to stay on the beach if you can. The road closest to the beach that runs parallel to it is very busy.

We loved the area - we know it well from many visits in our youth. Just concerned about all night partying from the taxis at St Michaels with very loud booming music. Would be concerned for any places much closer than we were, as it went on most of the night.
We loved being able to shop at the Shelly centre just down the road and a couple of road trips for breakfast at the Waffle House at Ramsgate and a visit to my favourite Natalies Shell shop in Margate. Entrance and exit into and off the road into the complex must be difficult when its really busy but we managed well.

I have been to the area many times before and beach is clean and inviting. Shopping centre is very functional and quite extensive. Very good shopping mall as also surrounding area shops and retailers. There are quite a number of places to eat within the mall itself as well as the surrounding areas as also within a short driving distance.

I am totally in love with Shelly beach.
I am totally in love with Shelly beach. In fact I am planning on moving there in the near future. The people are so friendly and helpful, the mall is in a perfect location and a shoppers dream. The beach is very clean. It has all the amenities required, what more can an old girl want?
I just have to find out if there is a beach that allows small dogs. I would love it if my cross Yorky can run on the beach because she loves running.

My Husband & are on our honeymoon and we were treated to a beautiful congratulations card and a courtesy bottle of wine. Very friendly reception staff & security at entrance and exit. . Upon arriving early we had a look at the pool which was nice and blue spent a lovely afternoon at The Renau with great music & delicious food and great service. Room was nice and clean and facilities were comfortable and we had a good night's rest. Thank you St Michael's Hotel for a really lovely and memorable stay.
The Facility was in a clean and safe area. Direct acces to the beach, walking distance to shopping complex. The host was very welcoming and available 24/7 , it felt like being in a hotel.
The apartment was very warm, beautiful,clean, it felt like home and is child friendly. They even have an elevator which helps so much with the lauguage.
This is definateley a place you will want to go back to.
Lovely hotel with a patio overlooking the ocean and direct access to the beach (the sea is rough but there's a calm rock pool nearby). Andre, the owner, was very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was very tasty. Room nicely decorated and comfortable
