It is a very peaceful village with a lovely beach.

It is a very peaceful village with a lovely beach. I was there off season which was perfect as coming in summer must be hectic. Met very helpful people from the pharmacy, the small supermarket and the laundry lady. Excellent restaurant - The Cork Eatery! Very nice owner and very good food. Enjoyed a lovely meal. Beach is beautiful but I may have gone to the wrong entrance as a bit of a trek to the sea but well worth it. Big plus - pet friendly area.

I had a good evening meal in the small business area, Cork and FLY??. Service was great and so was the wine , good value. I enjoyed the wuiet of my mid week stay. a pity about the damage on the mountains form the Fire in Feb, but the vegetation will recover. It always does.

Pringle Bay is beautiful with the sea and lagoon and beautiful mountains. We spent alot of time on the beach (not main) but nearer towards the lagoon. As dog owners we liked the fact that the beach allows dogs and had alot of locals walking their dogs. The many restaurants/deli/chemist/ mini mark is great as you don't need to leave the area. Pringle Bay is known for baboons so can be a problem especially during the busy season when so many people are around. We only encountered 1 old male baboon who was sitting on the side of the road and not a threat at all.

    The view was amazing.

The view was amazing. I enjoyed seeing the lighthouse from the beach. We got lucky with some amazing rainbows after a storm. There were gorgeous stars. We saw a lot of local birds and a mongoose. We ate at Fynbos and it was great! There are many interesting restaurants and quaint shops that I would like to explore more. We had a car, so it was easy to drive around the area. It was a treat to visit Pringle Bay. Would definitely visit again.

Fynbos Enterprises - Sunra is exceptional, her Pizza, Ice Cream and overall ambiance, top class, our new most favourite restaurant. Hook, Line and Sinker a must for any Salt of the Earth Seafood lover. La Galerie and the Fish & Chip shop were also superb. The Pringle Bay community welcomed us with open arms, a bit like coming home.

We loved the location and the house is beautiful - all rooms face the sea with the exception of the downstairs bedroom which is at the back. The kitchen was well stocked and the house is modern with great facilities. The pool was great we swam a lot although it was a little bit green probably due to a lot of people using it over the Christmas period. Access to the beach is superb - you walk down to the bottom of the garden and it is right there. Would be great if there were some ceiling fans in the main upstairs bedrooms as it can get very hot in January. We have listed a few other helpful things separately.

Moon River House is a wonderful place to stay in Pringle Bay and we couldn’t recommend it more. A peaceful oasis the shortest of walks (or kayak) to the beach. The house itself, its location and amenities are wonderful, while Ken has paid attention to the small details that make it stand out (you don’t see many places keep stock of detergent for the dishwasher, laundry detergent, firelighters and matches for example). The laundry is soft and clean, the beds are comfortable. We are definitely going to go back!

We were in Pringle Bay for 6 nights to attend a wedding and to explore the area. The West Wing made a perfect base and was within walking distance of several restaurants and coffee shops in a nice residential area of beautiful Pringle Bay. Comfy bed, separate entrance, easy parking, basic cooking facilities and bonus Netflix access combined to make for a very nice stay, together with the helpfulness of the owners.

Beautiful house, very comfortable and everything you need. Our first visit to pringle bay, such a quiet and safe little beach town. The house is situated as stated, a 5-minute walk from the beach. Everything and more that we expected. Pringle Bay Beach has the most beautiful sunsets.
