The furniture is a plus! Nice and unique decoration with victorian style.
The staff was proactive to book a table for my family in the nicest restaurant of the city (which was overbooked at that night).
The stay was also very quiet - perfect for a good and relaxing sleep.
I’d definitely recommend this acommodation!

This was the perfect spot for an overnight stay on Graskop. We were looking for a spot to stay on the area on the way back to Joburg from exploring Kruger. We visited the Graskop gorge for the Zipline, stunning views and waterfall/ravine gorge walk. We followed this up with an amazing meal at the glasshouse restaurant (the lamb shank is incredible) and then had an much needed sleep at the laguna lodge. Our room was tucked away in a beautiful garden and was so cozy and comfortable. Nice hot shower and a cute little table and chairs on the patio. Coffee and tea in the room was a nice touch. Pancakes at Harry's in the morning before heading back was a great finish to an amazing trip. Would highly recommend and will be back. Staff were easy to communicate with, friendly and efficient :)

This is a lovely home on a quiet residential street. The house is large, on a nicely manicured lot, tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are beautifully renovated. We were only two, but it would be comfortable for 6-8 people.

Pilgrims rest is an old gold mining town that has been preserved as a living museum. Very interesting looking around the buildings and village.
Watch out if you park car as the locals have a tendancy to wash the vehicle without asking and then charge you.
If you do get caught out only pay 80 rand

The roads have too many potholes and this extend the duration of the trip. Do not drive at night. There's a lot to do in Pilgrims Rest, it's a tourist destination. If driving from Jozi, its a long drive

It was really a great surprise esp. after many years of not operating and very dangerous. The town upgraded and I loved the teagarden we had lunch at. The pottery and stain glass shop. The people so friendly and the place really clean all over.
My husband had trout and I had a chicken mayo pancake. He had a mampoer milkshake-excellent and I had a lovely coffee.

We enjoyed our short stay in Pilgrim's Rest.
We enjoyed our short stay in Pilgrim's Rest. We arrived a little late in the day due to long delays due to roadworks. Most tourist attractions closed at 4pm so we couldn't explore that afternoon. They opened again at 9am, so we delayed our departure to explore a little, but didn't do the attractions justice. We did however enjoy our drink and supper in one of the local pubs and enjoyed our interactions with the friendly locals.

Nature ,if you love nature like me then Pilgrim rest is the best for you....heated pools and heated jacuzzi was the best for me cause I travel on winter and I love swimming....and the food on their restaurant was the best and affordable as well.
Peaceful resort in the mountains. lots of hiking trails that started from the lodge. We stayed in the hotel section and the rooms have their own fireplaces which made the holiday seem even more beautiful. The thatched roof was stunning and so high. Staff were all friendly. The set menu dinner was incredibly tasty and good value and had a few choices for each course. We felt like we had a proper escape and highly recommend Mt Sheba hotel and resort.
The atmosphere, the friendly staff and the beautiful cottage we stayed in
Tania organized us a bigger place where we stayed in hotel number 1. So I've asked her if can organize a bigger place for us to stay in and in a jippy she did so. And we recieved cottage number 6 witch was amazing. We will definitely go their again.
Overall great experience, was especially impressed that staff made a plan for safe parking of motorbike
Staff went out of their way to ensure a pleasurable stay. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings, greatly enjoyed relaxing on the hotel verandah.
